Find Your Ground Counseling
Compassionate therapy to help you find calm, clarity, and confidence in who you are.
Welcome! I’m Glad You’re Here
ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ
Like a garden, every person has their own rhythm, needs, and way of growing. I offer a nurturing, affirming space where you can explore who you are, tune into what supports you, and reconnect with what helps you feel grounded, at your own pace and in your own way.
I provide virtual counseling for teens (ages 13–18) and adults across Texas, supporting clients in finding calm, clarity, and confidence in who they are.
My work is disability-affirming and trauma-informed, honoring the many ways brains and bodies move through the world. I support teens and adults navigating anxiety, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and life transitions, while building healthy boundaries, sustainable self-care, mindful awareness and a more confident sense of self.
Together, we focus on the areas that feel strained or unsupported and create space for growth that aligns with your values, needs, and authentic self.
“Like plants, so men also grow, some in the light, others in the shade.”
Meet Claire

Hi, I’m Claire Baggett, founder and Licensed Professional Counselor at Find Your Ground Counseling.
This practice grew from a deep belief that real healing begins when we feel seen, supported, and grounded in who we are. I created a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with what steadies you. I’m truly grateful you’ve taken the time to visit and consider whether this space might be right for you.
I hold a Master’s Degree with Honors in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth and Community Studies, with a Psychology minor focused on Special Populations, from The University of Texas at Austin. My professional background includes experience in education as a special education teacher, as well as community-based and group practice counseling settings. Through this work, I have supported children, teens, and adults with diverse learning styles, emotional needs, and life experiences.
In my counseling work today, I support teens (13–18) and adults navigating anxiety, chronic illness, trauma, life transitions, and neurodivergent identity. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and relational, guided by curiosity and evidence-based methods while honoring each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and pace of growth.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy writing music, reading, crocheting, gardening, and exploring the outdoors. At home, I spend time with my two furry companions, Jax, a playful Great Dane and Golden Doodle mix, and Rocky, a calming rescue, who inspire gratitude, warmth, and joy every day.
“You are worthy of the same love and kindness you so freely give to others.”
